With over a decade of experience and thousands of hours teaching yoga, Sharon specializes in making movement accessible, welcoming, and meaningful—especially for beginners. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to build strength, flexibility, and confidence, one breath at a time.
Sharon is a certified Yoga Instructor and Holistic Health & Lifestyle Coach, as well as the founder of Serenity Farm, a 26-acre wellness sanctuary in Durham, NC. After 25 years in corporate tech, she followed a deeper calling—to help others slow down, reconnect, and realign with what matters most.
Now, she leads yoga, sound healing, and retreats that invite you to feel better in your body, find peace in your mind, and remember your worth.

Yoga Instructor | Violinist | Founder of VioYin
Allison is a classically trained musician with advanced degrees in Violin Performance and a multi-instrumentalist who brings the healing power of music into every space she enters. As a certified yoga instructor with nearly a decade of experience, she teaches multiple modalities including Yin, Aerial, Hatha, and Vinyasa.
She has a special gift for working with beginners—creating a supportive, empowering space with her calm presence and soothing voice.
As the founder of VioYin, Allison blends her lifelong passions for music and movement into a signature practice that integrates live violin and gentle sound elements, like chimes, into deeply restorative yoga. Her workshops offer a unique sensory experience designed to calm the nervous system and reconnect you to your inner rhythm.

Picture a bright studio with floor‑to‑ceiling French Doors that frames the trees, and the occasional curious cardinal. Fresh air, plenty of props — because comfort is king (or queen 👑).
Do I need yoga experience?
Nope. Every pose has options.
What should I bring?
Yoga mat (if you have one) and water.
What if I miss a class?
We understand that life happens, you can carry over one of the Tuesday classes. The Sunday Yin pass expires at the end of the four-weeks.
Is it really free?
Yes. Our mission is to serve the community. If you love the series, we’ll offer ways to continue — but the choice is 100 % yours.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely! Many people attend solo—it’s a wonderful way to reset and connect with yourself.
What if I don't have a yoga mat?
We have extra yoga mats, as well as blocks, bolsters and blankets
Is there parking?
There is lots of on-site parking, however, carpooling is always recommended if you can.
